We are Equine-Resource, a group dedicated to showcasing horse stock!



How do I submit?

To submit, go to our gallery, click "Submit to this Gallery," and choose the appropriate folder from the dropdown at the top of the menu.

PLEASE SUBMIT ONLY RESOURCES AND STOCK.

Contributors may submit up to 10 deviations a day.
Members may submit up to 5 deviations a day.

Please read this journal for submission guidelines.

Who is qualified to be a Contributor?

People who have lots of excellent horse stock or photography in their galleries should consider becoming a Contributor. Contributors have certain admin privileges, so being one makes participating in this community easier and more fun. Contributors should also be responsible people who can follow our submission guidelines without reminders. If you are a member and want to become a Contributor, please note the Group, tell us about yourself and why you qualify, and one of the admin will invite you to the position!

My work was used as stock or reference. How can I share with the club?

You can submit it to our Favourites. The Featured gallery in Favourites is reserved for works that have used our members' stock!

  • :new: 4/30/12: =Dreamcloud24 and other citizens of Mt. Vernon, VA, are trying to save a beloved local stable from being torn down for a transportation bypass. Read more about it at their website and then sign their petition if you care!


  • 11/21/11: ~Indian-Ink is having an intermediate-level equine photomanipulation contest! The theme is "Journey to the Centre of the Earth"! Are you interested? The deadline is January 1; read more about the contest here!


  • 8/12/11: #Unicorn-Club and #WaterHorses just declared the winners of their first joint contest, "Two Worlds, One Love"!
    In first place is *Leashe with The Unicorn and the Kelpie!
    In second place is *Sieskja with Two worlds, one love!
    In third place is ~Roiuky with Not My daughter!
    Check out the winners and the other amazing artwork that this contest garnered :happybounce:

  • 7/8/10: One of our members, ~Breathless-dk, is having an equine contest! Use one of her stock photos in your traditional or digital artwork and you could win a six-month subscription! Read more about it [link] (here)!

  • 6/21/10: +spyed is asking for input and suggestions for a system here on deviantART that would allow stock photography to be bought. Read more about his idea and give your opinion here!

  • 4/22/10: ~DarkMoon17 is holding a great contest to raise awareness of the plight of wild mustangs! To participate, you must be a member of #TheMustangProject. Want to help preserve wild mustangs? Read more about the contest here! The deadline is May 15.

  • 4/21/10: Our original founder, ~Losmios, has opened up a Flickr account for her stock photos! You can use her stock wherever you like, with only one restriction - no commercial use! See her Flickr album here, and see her terms of use here.

  • 4/20/10: #Unicorn-Club is holding a contest called "Design a Unicorn Breed"! The deadline is April 26! You can read more about it here.
